GADSDEN COUNTY COMMISSIONER ALONZETTA SIMPKINS TO HOST DISTRICT 2 COMMUNITY MEETING IN HAVANA

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- - Gadsden County Commissioner Alonzetta Simpkins will host a community meeting to discuss county efforts in District 2 and throughout the County. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Mt. Zion A.M.E Church.in Havana. 

Your participation is not just encouraged; it’s vital. This is your chance to learn more about the County, voice your concerns and opinions, or ask questions regarding current issues, projects, and the future of Gadsden County. Your presence will make a difference.

“This community meeting is open to all, new and old District Two constituents.,” Commissioner Simpkins said. “Citizens questions and feedback are not just welcomed, but they are needed to help me work better for you. Our County Department heads will be in attendance to provide updates on issues important to District Two. Please come out next Thursday and have your voice heard. I eagerly look forward to hearing from you.”

County staff from Public Works, Planning, Building, housing, Economic Development, and Human Resources will provide project updates.

The District 2 Community Meeting will take place.
